Christmas Task

                2014 was quite a tough year. Regardless to all the things that happened, 2014 was a really important year in my life.  I think, my year was a very prolific year. I have taken my first exam. I started to study for the entrance exams of the university.  I began to study TOEFL and day by day my results get better and on 22^th of December I took my first TOEFL IBT exam to see my knowledge. A week later the results came I got 72 out of 120. I can’t say I’m proud of my grade but anyway it was OK.

                Most probably the happiest event of 2014 was coming back to Armenia from Lebanon. I really wanted to return, because I missed the weather, friends, lifestyle and food, that were different. I like merely everything about Armenia. Maybe the saddest thing of 2014 was fighting with my old friend, he was a good guy, the problem was a really small thing that we could have ignored, but we didn’t. Everything may happen and we both continued our life without each other.  On the other hand, I have achieved every dream I had. I really enjoyed this Christmas, it was very unique as during these 4 years it is my first time I am experiencing Christmas celebrations in Armenia

                I still believe in Santa Clause’s existence. We all celebrate Christmas in Armenia, and we were celebrating when we were in Lebanon but there was something missing. I can’t really say it was the traditional way or not. Because some things were in traditional way, some not. I do really enjoy Christmas. I enjoyed Christmas together with my family, which is the day, filled with the most magic. I got many presents. My sister and I bought a gift for our mother and she was very happy. On January 5^th we went to the church and brought a lighted candle to home. Our Christmas tree it is artificial, it is taller than I, and me being the tallest person in our home I was decorating the upper part of the tree. We decorated it in silver and blue colors. I can’t remember but I think it was in December 10^th or later. We will take away our Christmas tree somewhere in the middle of January. We had a Christmas party in our school but I didn’t participate in it so I can’t say how it passed. We spent the New Year’s Day very excitedly. That day was a quite tough day for mom as she had to cook all the food. And at the end of the day we all sat around the table and celebrated the New Year. I think our menu was like others’ practically everything. In next few days we went to our relatives’ homes and celebrated New Year once again. I don’t know what I will get the upcoming Christmas my desires are unlimitedly innumerous.  

As a conclusion, this year was a very good year except some bad things that got covered by other things. I hope the New Year will be as good a this year was, and it will bring joy, laughter to all of us.
